Recruitment Fraud Warning

Unauthorized individuals claiming to be RAK employees are offering jobs and spreading false information to steal money and personal data. These unauthorized people gather information from our social media pages and scam by using the legitimate board and unauthorized RAK logo employee name and title.

RAK will never demand money for a work visa, job security, and residence management, and it is a scheme through a check to reach out to your bank accounts.

RAK takes this matter seriously. We are hoping to guide the community don’t believe in such jobs and recruitments. You can judge them easily as no company is interested in your person; data such as an address, social security number, tax documents, or banking information, and the same goes for RAK.

What is Recruitment Fraud?

This is a sophisticated scheme in which recruitment is doing by offering or publishing a fictitious job. Bogus websites and unauthorized emails are the primary source behind such scams. They steal money in terms of fake visas, security charges, travel expenses, and many more.

How to Identify Recruitment Fraud?

  • The email does not come from an official email address: career@rakbmcs.com
  • If email is from Gmail, Outlook.com, Lcom, Yahoo, AOL, or a combination of these, it’s not legal.
  • They will ask for an interview over different apps such as Instant Messenger
  • There will be the demand for the following personal information such as address details, date of birth, resume (CV), passport details, etc.
  • The unauthorized person will offer to pay a percentage and ask you to pay the remaining amount.
  • There is an insistence on urgency.
